David Brookfield first joined LKQ Europe’s UK division, Euro Car Parts, as People Director in January 2010 which saw him deliver strategies for seamless working, before being promoted to Vice President HR of LKQ Europe in August 2020. In this significantly important role to the business, David Brookfield focuses on building one organization that enables LKQ Europe to leverage its size and scale to the benefit of both customers and colleagues.

As the overall Project Leader of the 1 LKQ Europe implementation, David Brookfield oversees the pooling of strengths and integration of 76 companies, with over 1000 locations across 20 counties, and centralizing functions to reduce complexities and speed up processes across Europe. An experienced HR professional, David Brookfield’s skills in organisational development, succession planning, performance management and more, are further enhanced by his demonstrated history of working in the automotive industry.

Prior to bringing his extensive experience to LKQ Europe, David Brookfield spent two years designing and executing a new division for Fortune 500 staffing firm, ManpowerGroup Global, to carry out purchasing, logistics and supply chain on both an interim and permanent contractual basis. Prior to that role, he spent four years at mobile phone retailer 20:20 Mobile Group supervising overall recruitment and resourcing processes to assure adherence to governing regulations.
