LKQ CEE is made up of Central and Eastern European countries: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. 8 countries, 10 different languages and 6 currencies. All of these were successfully integrated into one company, when LKQ Europe took over RHIAG group in 2016, that included most of today’s LKQ companies in the CEE region.
Every day the region supplies around 35,000 workshops across the CEE countries and serves approximately 571,000 B2B and B2C customers in total. With more than 800 services in workshop concepts the CEE region has a huge business and innovative potential in the future. In addition, the company operates a professional training platform in the region through the LKQ Academy in Prague and other cities, which offers expert online and offline training courses covering complete vehicle care and repair, including the proper management of garages. It also has a state-of-the-art Innovation and Service Centre located in Katowice, Poland that acts as a catalyst for the company’s innovation and digitalization strategy.
The total area of the two central warehouses located in Czech Republic is larger than 13 football fields, from where the company ships around 70,000 order lines per day. The central warehouses supply 113 branches all over the Czech Republic several times a day, as well as Central and Eastern European countries and hundreds export customers, mainly in Austria and Germany. The launch of the new warehouse in Poland is of strategic importance in the context of the further development of the company.
Alongside with the sale of car parts we provide our customers with wide range of services which are complementing our comprehensive offer. We are happy to serve customers with the offer of more than 200 training courses practised at our Training Centre, online database of technical and servicing data, car fleet management service or online tools for managing the job orders in the workshop and the communications with their customers. We also run a valuable customer loyalty programme.
Complete technical sales support is offered in the Czech Republic and other countries under the LKQ Academy platform. It provides unique services and knowledge across Europe such as garage equipment consulting, garage equipment maintenance and services, diagnostics tools consulting and many more. LKQ Academy is based on offline training courses as well as e-learning.
The product portfolio with 3,5 Mio stock keeping units (SKUs) reflects the LKQ flexibility to serve its customers according to their needs. With a network of 1240 supplier across the region, LKQ has a wide range of high quality own brand products. The product portfolio reflects the innovation trends on the market and aims serving the business and end user customers to serve on the highest level when it comes to the digital age.
