Lesmeister responsible for Corporate Communications at LKQ Europe

Zug, Switzerland. Dr. Christiane Lesmeister has been appointed as Director of Communications of LKQ Europe, headquartered in Zug. Effective from November, Lesmeister will be responsible for internal and external communications and report directly to Arnd Franz, CEO of LKQ Europe. In addition to the positioning of the company and B2B and B2C communication, her role will focus on internal and change communication, as part of the strategic implementation of "1 LKQ Europe" and integration of the 70 plus European companies acquired since 2011.

Lesmeister has many years of experience in the automotive industry as PR manager for BMW between 2007 and 2008, and responsibility for establishing communications for Porsche in Central and Eastern Europe in their regional office in Prague from 2009 to 2011. Since then, she has served as Director Press and Public Relations for Porsche in Switzerland. Lesmeister studied communication science, political science and psychology at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and did her doctorate on the subject of Informal Political Communication Culture.
