LKQ has been a great platform for me to grow. I was the first in-house legal counsel at LKQ RHIAG Italy in January 2021 – an opportunity that allowed me to challenge myself as I established and managed a function, taking our legal and compliance capabilities from strength to strength. No two days are the same. Even though I have similar daily routines, the people and projects I work with, and involved in, vary greatly. My team and I are here to make sure the way of working is conducted both correctly and legally within the organization in order to avoid potential risks to our company. I am now working as part of the central function, this gives me the opportunity to meet and talk to my colleagues across Europe which is fantastic, as despite the differences between our culture, languages, and legislations, we have the same goal to share best practices and create stronger, profitable and inclusive organizations.
