After a successful 25-year career in Retail Management, I was seeking a new professional chapter—one defined by personal growth and meaningful impact. My journey began in the National Distribution Centre based in Tamworth, UK. What started as a therapeutic change of pace soon became a platform for growth. It was clear LKQ was commitment to upskilling its workforce. The company recognized my ambition and potential, and that’s when I progressed into joining the training team in our National Distribution Centre.
As a member of the training team, I was empowered to make a positive difference—mentoring colleagues and supporting their professional journeys. Our culture of trust and continuous improvement motivated me to pursue new challenges, and I was honoured to be selected as ‘Guest Co-Ordinator’.
