Zug, Switzerland.The European automotive aftermarket’s leading distributor of parts and supplier of added value services has announced the appointment of Diederik van Erven Dorens as Chief Financial Officer. 

van Erven Dorens brings more than 25 years of experience to LKQ Europe, having held senior finance and management positions in global businesses including Proctor & Gamble and S C Johnson, and most recently as CFO of EMEAI in Honeywell’s aerospace division.

Having worked all over the world – in France, Belgium, Poland, The Netherlands, Mexico and The US – van Erven Dorens has experience working in networked organisations that operate in a similar way to LKQ in terms of trading, innovating and sharing best practice across borders.

As part of the LKQ Europe Executive Team, van Erven Dorens will be based at the business’ headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, reporting directly into Rick Galloway, Global Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at LKQ Corporation, and working closely with Andy Hamilton, President & Executive Managing Director at LKQ Europe.

Commenting on the appointment, Andy Hamilton said: “Diederik brings invaluable experience and energy to our European Executive Team, and will play a pivotal role in driving our strategy forward – as we help our aftermarket customers to grow their businesses in parallel with our plans to grow and develop our own organisation.
